DESCRIPTION
The 1453579 is a power terminal block designed for industrial power distribution and load switching applications. It is rated for 380 A continuous current at 600 V per UL 1953 and CSA 22.2 No. 158 standards, with a 75°C connector terminal rating suitable for copper or aluminum wire. The line side accepts wire sizes from 500 kcmil to #4 AWG, while the load side accommodates #2/0 to #14 AWG conductors, with termination torques ranging from 4 N·m to 42.4 N·m depending on wire gauge. The insulator base is thermoplastic with a UL94V0 flammability rating and operates reliably from -40°C to +125°C. The terminal block features aluminum connectors with tin plating, steel zinc-plated mounting screws, and is available in 1, 2, or 3-pole configurations with optional snap-on covers. It is UL Listed, CSA certified, CE compliant to IEC 60947-7-1, and RoHS compliant, making it suitable for panel-mounted power distribution in industrial control systems, motor control centers, and electrical enclosures.
