DESCRIPTION
AEV17012 is a 200A compact relay designed for high DC voltage switching in electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, fuel-cell vehicles, and battery charge/discharge systems. The relay features a capsule contact mechanism charged with hydrogen gas for superior arc cooling capacity and short gap cutoff at high DC voltages. It operates at a nominal coil voltage of 12V DC with a nominal operating current of 0.500A and nominal operating power of 6.0W. The contact portion is sealed in hydrogen gas to prevent oxidation and ensure high contact reliability, while the construction prevents arc leakage for enhanced safety.
