DESCRIPTION
The AQY284EH is a low-cost PhotoMOS relay designed for general-purpose AC/DC switching with reinforced insulation rated at 5,000V AC isolation voltage. It features a 4-pin DIP package with a maximum load voltage of 400V peak AC and continuous load current of 120mA, delivering stable operation through optically isolated switching with no metallic contact parts. The device exhibits high sensitivity with a typical LED operate current of 1.8mA and low on-resistance of 20O at maximum load current, along with minimal off-state leakage current of 1µA. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with turn-on and turn-off times of 1.5ms and 0.5ms respectively, the AQY284EH is ideal for modem, telephone equipment, security systems, and sensor applications requiring reliable galvanic isolation and low-cost switching solutions.
