DESCRIPTION
The 89126-0101 is a 26-contact IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) socket from the 891 series, designed for mass termination of .050" pitch ribbon cable. This preassembled connector is configured without a strain relief and includes a centerbump for polarization. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with 30 μ” gold plating in the wiping area over a nickel underplating, ensuring a reliable connection. The connector body is made from gray, UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled polyester (PBT) and accommodates both 26 and 28 AWG stranded wire. With an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, this socket is ideal for various wire-to-board applications in electronic equipment.
