DESCRIPTION
The 89134-0103 is a 34-contact Insulation Displacement Connector (IDC) socket for terminating .050” pitch flat ribbon cable. It features phosphor bronze contacts with 30 µ” gold plating in the wiping area over nickel underplating, and is designed to accommodate 26 and 28 AWG stranded wire. This specific preassembled model is configured without a strain relief and without a centerbump. The connector has a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and a withstanding voltage of 1,000 VRMS at sea level. Its double-recessed cover allows for cable termination from either side, making it a versatile solution for various board-to-cable applications in electronic equipment.
