DESCRIPTION

1553-YL005 is a PVC-insulated hookup wire designed for general-purpose wiring applications. It features a 20 AWG (10/30) tinned copper conductor with a nominal diameter of 0.037 inches and a 0.016-inch wall PVC insulation resulting in an overall diameter of 0.069 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 1000 VRMS and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 80°C, with a conductor DC resistance of 11.4 O/1000ft at 20°C. It meets military specifications MIL-W-76B TYPE MNV and MN, and is RoHS compliant. This hookup wire is suitable for equipment wiring, control panels, and other applications requiring reliable electrical connections with military-grade performance.
