DESCRIPTION
The 1557-RD005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and conductivity. It features a 16 AWG (26/30) tinned copper conductor with a nominal 0.016" wall PVC insulation, providing an overall diameter of 0.092 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 1000 V RMS at 80°C and complies with MIL-W-76B specifications (Types MW and MN). It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, with a maximum pull tension of 20.4 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter.
