DESCRIPTION
The 2413C-SL005 is a three-conductor shielded cable designed for general-purpose signal and control applications requiring electromagnetic interference protection. It features 20 AWG (7/28) tinned copper conductors with FRPE insulation (0.016" wall), arranged in a twisted configuration at 5.3 twists per foot minimum, and protected by an aluminum/mylar tape shield with 25% overlap and a 20 AWG tinned copper drain wire. The cable is jacketed with 0.020" nominal PVC in slate color and is rated for 300 V RMS with a temperature range of -20 °C to +75 °C. Key electrical characteristics include a conductor DC resistance of 10.2 O/1000 ft at 20 °C, capacitance of 23.9 pF/ft (conductor-to-conductor) and 43 pF/ft (ground) at 1 kHz, and inductance of 0.19 µH/ft. This cable is commonly used in industrial control systems, instrumentation, and audio applications where shielding and reliable signal transmission are essential.
