DESCRIPTION
The 3048-VI001 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections and wiring applications. It features a 28 AWG tinned copper conductor (7/36 stranding) with 0.016" nominal PVC insulation wall thickness, providing an overall diameter of 0.047" ± 0.002". The wire is rated for 300V RMS and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, meeting both UL standards (AWM/STYLE 1007 at 80°C and AWM/STYLE 1569 at 105°C) and CSA International specifications (TR-64 at 90°C). With a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs and a bend radius of 10× cable diameter, this wire is well-suited for prototyping, laboratory work, and general electronic assembly where flexibility and temperature tolerance are important.
