DESCRIPTION
The 3048-YL001 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections and component wiring. It features a 28 AWG tinned copper conductor (7/36 stranding) with 0.016" nominal PVC insulation wall thickness, providing an overall diameter of 0.047" ± 0.002". The wire is rated for 300V RMS and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, meeting both UL AWM/STYLE 1007 (80°C) and AWM/STYLE 1569 (105°C) standards, as well as CSA TR-64 and FT1 certifications. With a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs and a bend radius of 10× cable diameter, this wire is well-suited for laboratory prototyping, equipment assembly, and general-purpose wiring applications where flexibility and temperature tolerance are important.
