DESCRIPTION
3055/1-BLACK-1000 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose wiring applications. It features an 18 AWG solid tinned copper conductor with a nominal diameter of 0.040 inches, insulated with a 0.016-inch wall PVC insulation resulting in an overall diameter of 0.072 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 300 VRMS with a temperature range of -40 to 105°C and meets UL AWM Styles 1007 (80°C) and 1569 (105°C), as well as CSA TR-64 (90°C) certifications with VW-1 and FT1 flame ratings. Electrical properties include a conductor DC resistance of 6.6 O/1000ft at 20°C and nominal inductance of 0.05 µH/ft. This RoHS-compliant wire is ideal for internal wiring of electronic equipment, control panels, and instrumentation where reliable performance and regulatory compliance are required.
