DESCRIPTION
The 392240-BK005 is a 22 AWG single-conductor hookup wire with silicone rubber insulation designed for high-voltage applications. It features a tinned copper conductor (7/30 stranding) with a 0.040" nominal silicone rubber wall insulation, providing an overall diameter of 0.110" ± 0.004". The wire is rated for 10,000 V DC (or 10 kV AC) at temperatures up to 150°C and complies with UL Style 3239 specifications. It exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 16.2 O/1000 ft at 20°C and an inductance of 0.09 µH/ft, with a maximum pull tension of 5.5 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. This wire is ideal for laboratory equipment, test instrumentation, high-voltage power supplies, and other applications requiring reliable high-voltage signal transmission in elevated temperature environments.
