DESCRIPTION

The 5851-YL005 is a single-conductor hookup wire featuring 30 AWG stranded copper (7/38) conductor with 0.010" nominal PTFE insulation, designed for high-temperature and high-voltage applications. It is rated for 600 V RMS and operates across a wide temperature range of -60 to 200°C, meeting UL AWM/STYLE 1213 (105°C) and MIL-W-16878/4 Type E (200°C/600 V RMS) specifications. The wire exhibits a nominal inductance of 0.07 µH/ft and a conductor DC resistance of 94 O/1000 ft at 20°C, with a maximum pull tension of 0.88 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10× cable diameter. This wire is ideal for aerospace, military, industrial control, and high-temperature instrumentation applications where reliable signal transmission and mechanical durability are critical.
