DESCRIPTION
The 5853-YL005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections in high-temperature and high-voltage applications. It features a 26 AWG (7/34) stranded silver-plated copper conductor with a 0.010" nominal wall PTFE insulation, providing excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability. The wire is rated for 600 V RMS operation and maintains performance across a wide temperature range of -60 to 200°C, with a bend radius of 10× cable diameter and a maximum pull tension of 2.18 lbs. It complies with UL AWM/STYLE 1213 (VW-1, 105°C), MIL-W-16878/4 Type E (200°C/600 V RMS), and NEMA HP3-EXBDB standards, and is RoHS 2/RoHS 3 compliant. This wire is ideal for aerospace, industrial control, and high-temperature instrumentation applications where reliable insulation and voltage performance are critical.
