DESCRIPTION
The 5857-OR001 is a single-conductor hookup wire featuring 18 AWG (19/30) stranded bare copper conductor with 0.010" nominal PTFE insulation, designed for high-temperature and high-voltage applications. It is rated for 600 V RMS per MIL-W-16878/4 (Type E) and operates across a temperature range of -60°C to +200°C, with UL AWM/STYLE 1213 VW-1 certification at 105°C. The wire exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 5.6 O/1000 ft at 20°C, inductance of 0.03 µH/ft nominal, and a maximum pull tension of 14.9 lbs, with a minimum bend radius of 10× cable diameter. This wire is ideal for internal wiring in high-temperature equipment, aerospace systems, industrial control panels, and applications requiring superior thermal and electrical performance in demanding environments.
