DESCRIPTION

The 6012C-SL005 is a six-pair shielded twisted-pair communication cable designed for signal transmission in industrial and commercial applications. It features 22 AWG tinned copper conductors with polypropylene insulation (0.010" wall nominal), individually twisted at 8.0 twists per foot, and wrapped with foil-free aluminum/mylar tape shielding with 25% overlap and a drain wire for grounding. The cable assembly comprises six shielded pairs cabled together at 3.0 twists per foot with a clear mylar core wrap, all enclosed in a 0.048" nominal PVC jacket (slate color) rated for -20°C to +75°C operation. With a characteristic impedance of 60O, voltage rating of 300V RMS, and low inductance of 0.18 µH/ft, this cable is ideal for data communication, instrumentation, and control systems where noise immunity and signal integrity are essential.
