DESCRIPTION

6340-SL005 is a 4-conductor shielded multi-conductor cable designed for signal transmission applications requiring electromagnetic interference protection. The cable features 22 AWG (7/30) tinned copper conductors with semi-rigid PVC insulation, cabled with 6.9 twists per foot minimum, and protected by an aluminum/mylar tape shield with 25% overlap and a tinned copper braid providing 65% minimum coverage. The PVC jacket has a nominal wall thickness of 0.032 inches with an overall diameter of 0.211 inches (0.222 inches maximum), and the cable is rated for 300 VRMS with an operating temperature range of -20 to 80°C. This cable is suitable for control, instrumentation, and communication applications where reliable shielding and flexibility are required, and it is UL listed as Type CM and AWM 2464, as well as c(UL) CMG FT4 rated.
