DESCRIPTION

The 6373-SL005 is a two-pair shielded twisted-pair communication cable designed for low-voltage signal transmission in industrial and commercial applications. It features 22 AWG (7/30) tinned copper conductors with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation, twisted at 8.0 twists/foot minimum per pair and 4.8 twists/foot minimum for the overall cable assembly. The cable incorporates an aluminum/mylar tape shield with 25% minimum overlap and tinned copper braid at 65% minimum coverage, with a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire; the outer jacket is 0.032" nominal PVC in slate color. Electrical specifications include a 300 V RMS voltage rating, 70 O characteristic impedance, 40 pF/ft mutual capacitance, and 16.5 O/1000 ft conductor DC resistance at 20°C. The cable operates from -20°C to +80°C, supports a 10× cable diameter bend radius, and is rated for 29 lbs maximum pull tension. It is UL-listed as Type CM/CMG and complies with AWM 2464 and RoHS directives, making it suitable for control, instrumentation, and data communication systems.
