DESCRIPTION

6710-RD005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections in industrial and electronic applications. The wire features a 28 AWG (7/36) tinned copper conductor with a 0.0095" wall nominal modified polyphenylene ether insulation, providing an outer diameter of 0.034" ± 0.002". It is rated for 600 V RMS at 105°C and complies with UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1, CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1, and is halogen-free per IEC 60332-2 flame behavior standards. The wire operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C with a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. This product is ideal for control circuits, instrumentation, and equipment wiring where flame resistance and environmental compliance are required.
