DESCRIPTION
6712-WH001 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and flame resistance. The wire features a 24 AWG tinned copper conductor (0.024" diameter) with a 0.0095" wall of modified polyphenylene ether insulation (0.043" ± 0.002" outer diameter), providing excellent electrical and mechanical properties. It is rated for 600V RMS at temperatures up to 105°C and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1, CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1, and IEC 60332-2 flame behavior standards. The wire is halogen-free and RoHS-compliant, with a temperature operating range of -40°C to +105°C, a bend radius of 10× cable diameter, and a maximum pull tension of 3.5 lbs. Common applications include general hookup, control circuits, and equipment wiring where flame-retardant, halogen-free construction is required.
