DESCRIPTION
The 6714-YL005 is a single-conductor hookup wire featuring 20 AWG (10/30 stranded) tinned copper conductor with 0.0095" wall modified polyphenylene ether insulation, designed for general-purpose electrical applications. The wire is rated for 600V RMS at 105°C and complies with UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1, CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1, and is halogen-free with IEC 60332-2 flame behavior certification. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a pull tension rating of 7.9 lbs. The wire exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 10.6 O/1000ft at 20°C and an inductance of 0.04 µH/ft, making it suitable for control circuits, instrumentation, and general wiring in industrial and commercial equipment where flame resistance and environmental compliance are required.
