DESCRIPTION
The 6716-RD005 is a single-conductor 16 AWG hookup wire manufactured by Alpha Wire, featuring a tinned copper conductor with 0.011 inch nominal wall modified polyphenylene ether insulation. It is rated for 600 V RMS at 105°C continuous operation and complies with UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1 and CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 standards. The wire exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 4.4 O/1000 ft at 20°C, an inductance of 0.03 µH/ft, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and pull tension rating of 20.4 lbs. This halogen-free, RoHS-compliant wire is ideal for general-purpose electrical interconnections, control circuits, and equipment wiring in industrial, commercial, and consumer applications where flame-retardant performance and environmental compliance are required.
