DESCRIPTION

6718-GR005 is a single-conductor 12 AWG hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and flame resistance. The wire features a tinned copper conductor with a 0.012-inch wall of modified polyphenylene ether insulation, providing a nominal outer diameter of 0.117 inches. It is rated for 600V RMS at temperatures up to 105°C and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 and CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 standards with VW-1 flame rating. The wire exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 1.75 O/1000 ft at 20°C and an inductance of 0.03 µH/ft, with a maximum pull tension of 51 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. This halogen-free, RoHS-compliant wire is suitable for control circuits, instrumentation, and general wiring applications in industrial and commercial equipment where flame resistance and environmental compliance are required.
