DESCRIPTION
The 6820-BK005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections and wiring applications. It features a 28 AWG (7/36) bare copper conductor with a nominal 0.008" wall of modified polyphenylene ether insulation, providing an overall diameter of 0.031" ± 0.002". The wire is rated for 300 V RMS and is suitable for ISO 6722 applications at 60 V RMS, with halogen-free construction compliant with EU RoHS 2 and REACH regulations. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C, exhibits a nominal inductance of 0.06 µH/ft, and has a conductor DC resistance of 60 O/1000 ft at 20°C. This wire is ideal for automotive, industrial control, and low-voltage signal applications where halogen-free and RoHS-compliant materials are required.
