DESCRIPTION
7047-BK005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and temperature resistance. The wire features a 12 AWG tinned copper conductor (65/30 stranding) with a 0.032" wall nominal XLPE insulation, providing an overall diameter of 0.155 ± 0.004 inches. It is rated for 600V RMS at 125°C continuous operation and complies with UL AWM/STYLE 3271, CSA CL1251-XLPE, and MIL-W-16878E Type D specifications. The wire operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a pull tension rating of 51 lbs. With a conductor DC resistance of 1.75 O/1000ft at 20°C and low inductance of 0.05 µH/ft, this wire is ideal for control circuits, instrumentation, and general wiring applications in industrial and commercial equipment.
