DESCRIPTION
The 7055-YL005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and conductivity. It features a 22 AWG tinned copper conductor (7/30 stranding) with a nominal 0.010" wall PVC insulation, irradiated for enhanced durability, and an outer diameter of 0.050" ± 0.002". The wire is rated for 150V RMS at 80°C and complies with UL AWM/STYLE 1429 and CSA AWM IA/B standards, with military qualification under MIL-W-16878E TYPE B (105°C/600V). It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 16.2 O/1000ft at 20°C. This wire is ideal for internal wiring in consumer electronics, instrumentation, and general-purpose hookup applications where cost-effective, standards-compliant connectivity is required.
