DESCRIPTION
The 74007-BK002 is a four-conductor shielded industrial Ethernet cable designed for PROFINET Type C and Category 5e applications. It features 22 AWG tinned copper conductors (19/34 stranding) with polyolefin insulation, cabled with a minimum twist rate of 6.0 twists per foot, and protected by a dual-layer shielding system consisting of an aluminum/mylar tape with 25% overlap and tinned copper braid at 80% coverage minimum. The cable is jacketed with a 0.035-inch nominal TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) outer jacket in black, with an overall diameter of 0.264 inches (0.279 inches maximum). It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +90°C and supports a maximum operating voltage of 300 V RMS, with excellent electrical characteristics including 100 ±15 O impedance at 1–100 MHz and transfer impedance below 10 mO/m at 10 MHz. This cable is ideal for industrial automation, factory networking, and control systems requiring robust, shielded connectivity with superior EMI protection and compliance with international standards including IEC 60811, EN 60228, and ISO/IEC 11801 Category 5e.
