DESCRIPTION
74008-BK002 is a Category 5e unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cable designed for high-speed network and telecommunications installations. The cable features four pairs of 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors with polyolefin insulation (0.009" wall nominal), cabled together with staggered lays and a minimum of 4.8 twists per foot. The construction includes an inner blue PVC jacket (0.018" wall nominal) and an outer black PVC jacket (0.035" wall nominal) with 1-end 810 denier nylon ripstop, providing durability and protection. The cable meets UL CMR, CSA C/(UL) CMR FT4, ISO/IEC 11801 Category 5e, and TIA-568-C.2 specifications, with a voltage rating of 300 V RMS and characteristic impedance of 100 O ±15. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -10°C to +75°C with a bend radius of 4× cable diameter, making it suitable for structured cabling systems, data centers, and commercial network installations where compliance and performance are essential.
