DESCRIPTION

The 86302CY-SL005 is a four-conductor continuous flex data cable designed for control and signal transmission in industrial and commercial environments. It features 28 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/36 stranding) with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation, assembled into a 4-conductor cable with 12.0 twists per foot minimum and nonwoven polyester tape core wrap. The overall cable has a 0.040" nominal PVC jacket in slate color with a nominal outer diameter of 0.170 inches, rated for 300 VRMS at 105°C continuous operation. Electrical characteristics include a capacitance of 18.5 pF/ft at 1 kHz (conductor-to-conductor), inductance of 0.22 µH/ft, and conductor DC resistance of 66 O/1000 ft at 20°C. The cable operates across a temperature range of -10°C to 105°C (static) and +5°C to 105°C (dynamic), with a maximum bend radius of 8× cable diameter and pull tension limit of 5.5 lbs. It meets UL AWM/STYLE 2661, CSA AWM I/II A/B, and FT4 standards, making it suitable for flexible routing in machinery control, data acquisition systems, and general industrial wiring applications.
