DESCRIPTION

The 9174-BK005 is a single-conductor coaxial cable conforming to MIL-C-17D/119F RG 174/U specifications, designed for RF and signal transmission applications. It features a 26 AWG (7/34) bare copper wire conductor with 0.0205 inch polyethylene insulation, a tinned copper braid shield with 85% minimum coverage, and a 0.012 inch PVC jacket rated for -40 to 80°C operation. The cable exhibits a characteristic impedance of 50 O ±2, ground capacitance of 30.8 pF/ft at 1 kHz, velocity of propagation of 66%, and conductor DC resistance of 96.7 O/1000 ft at 20°C. With a voltage rating of 1100 V RMS, voltage withstanding of 4.5 kV minimum, and corona extinction of 1.5 kV minimum, this cable is suitable for test equipment, instrumentation, RF signal distribution, and general-purpose coaxial applications requiring reliable shielding and impedance control.
