DESCRIPTION
FIT2211/16-RED-70 is a heat shrinkable tubing designed for wire and cable insulation, bundling, and protection applications. Constructed from cross-linked polyolefin material, it features an approximately 2:1 shrink ratio with a temperature range of -55 to 135°C. The tubing offers a minimum shrink temperature of 90°C and full recovery temperature of 121°C, with tensile strength of 1500 psi minimum and elongation of 200% minimum per ASTM D638. Electrical properties include dielectric strength of 500 V/mil minimum and volume resistivity of 1x10^14 ohm-cm minimum. This tubing is UL Standard 224 and CSA Standard 198 rated at 600V, and complies with AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 1, making it suitable for aerospace, military, and general industrial applications requiring reliable insulation protection.
