DESCRIPTION
FIT2211/16-CLEAR-70 is a clear cross-linked polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing designed for wire and cable insulation, bundling, and protection applications. It features a 2:1 shrink ratio with a minimum supplied inner diameter of 0.063 inches that recovers to a maximum of 0.031 inches, and a nominal recovered wall thickness of 0.017 inches. The tubing operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 135°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 90°C and full recovery at 121°C. Key electrical properties include a dielectric strength of 500 V/mil minimum and volume resistivity of 1x10^14 ohm-cm minimum. This RoHS-compliant tubing meets AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 2 specifications and offers excellent mechanical properties including tensile strength of 1500 psi minimum and 200% minimum elongation, making it suitable for demanding industrial and electronic applications.
