DESCRIPTION
F2211/4-YL103 is a heat shrinkable tubing product manufactured by Alpha Wire, designed for electrical insulation and wire protection in demanding environments. The tubing is constructed from cross-linked polyolefin material with a nominal 2:1 shrink ratio, featuring a minimum supplied inner diameter of 0.250 inches that recovers to a maximum of 0.125 inches with a nominal wall thickness of 0.025 inches after shrinking. It operates across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +135°C, achieves full recovery at 121°C with a minimum shrink temperature of 90°C, and demonstrates excellent mechanical properties including a tensile strength of 1500 psi minimum and 200% minimum elongation. The tubing meets UL Standard 224 and CSA International Standard 198 (both rated at 600V), along with military specifications AMS-DTL-23053/5, and is RoHS-compliant and lead-free. This product is ideal for wire bundling, connector protection, and electrical insulation in automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer electronics applications where reliable thermal shrinkage and long-term environmental resistance are required.
