DESCRIPTION

The VKA4100N is a 4-pole motor disconnect switch designed for industrial automation and control applications requiring reliable load disconnection. It is rated for 100 A general purpose current at a maximum voltage of 600 V AC, with a motor full load amperage (FLA) of 54 A at 600 V AC. The switch features a short circuit withstand rating of 10 kA at 600 V with K5 and RK5 fuse classes rated at 150 A maximum. It accommodates copper conductors from 8 AWG to 1/0 AWG (75 °C) with a terminal torque specification of 50 lb·in (5.6 Nm) and 5 mm Allen key screw head type. The switch is available with extended and direct handle configurations and can be mounted on doors using optional mounting kits. Common applications include motor control, power distribution, and equipment isolation in industrial facilities, with UL and CE certifications ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
