DESCRIPTION

The AZ2280-1A-24AE is a 40 A miniature power relay designed for AC and DC load switching in industrial control and power distribution systems. It features 1 Form A contact with a maximum switched current of 40 A at 277 VAC or 30 A at 28 VDC, and a maximum switched power of 840 W or 11,080 VA. The relay is equipped with a 24 VAC coil (50/60 Hz) with a must-operate voltage of 20.4 VAC and maximum continuous voltage of 27.6 VAC, consuming 2.1 VA nominal power with 100 O coil resistance. It delivers an operate time of 15 ms maximum and release time of 10 ms maximum at nominal coil voltage, with a dielectric strength of 1500 Vrms contact-to-contact and 2500 Vrms contact-to-coil. The relay operates reliably from -55 °C to 60 °C and is rated for 1 × 107 mechanical operations and 1 × 105 electrical operations at 28 A, 277 VAC.
