DESCRIPTION
AZ822-2C-12DE is a subminiature DIP relay designed for compact board spacing with a 12VDC nominal coil voltage and DPDT (2 Form C) contact arrangement featuring bifurcated crossbar contacts. The relay delivers a maximum switched power of 60W or 125VA with a maximum switched current of 2A at 220VDC or 250VAC, utilizing silver palladium gold-clad contacts with initial resistance below 50 milliohms. Operating characteristics include a 5ms typical operate time and 2ms typical release time at nominal coil voltage, with a life expectancy of 1 million mechanical operations and 500,000 electrical operations at 1A and 24VDC. The device is epoxy sealed for automatic wave soldering and cleaning, fits standard 16-pin IC sockets with 0.1" grid terminal spacing, and meets FCC lightning surge (1500V) and dielectric (1000V) requirements, making it suitable for telecommunications, industrial control, and automated switching applications requiring reliable, compact relay performance.
