D38999/24FJ61PA is a MIL-DTL-38999 Series III jam nut receptacle environmental connector designed for aerospace and military applications requiring robust environmental sealing and reliable mating cycles. The connector features a jam nut receptacle style (24) with pin contacts rated for 500 mating cycles, cadmium plate olive drab finish over electroless nickel (W class), and accommodates wire gauges from #22 to #28 depending on contact size. The connector is supplied with contacts including spares, an insertion/removal tool, and sealing plugs to ensure environmental protection. This connector meets or exceeds the mechanical, electrical, environmental, and dimensional requirements of MIL-DTL-38999/20, /24, and /26, making it suitable for harsh aerospace environments where environmental sealing and reliable electrical connections are critical.
