DESCRIPTION

The D38999/26FC4SA is a military-grade straight plug connector from the Amphenol Tri-Start MIL-DTL-38999 Series III family, designed for high-performance, severe environment applications. It is constructed with an aluminum shell and a Class F electroless nickel finish, providing superior EMI shielding of at least 65dB at 10 GHz and withstanding operating temperatures up to 200°C. This connector utilizes a 13-4 insert arrangement with four size 16 socket contacts, each rated for 13 amps, and has a Service Rating of 'I' (1800 VRMS test voltage at sea level). The design incorporates a quick-coupling mechanism that mates and self-locks in a single 360° turn, eliminating the need for lockwiring.
