DESCRIPTION
L17DBFRDA25SC309 is a 25-position D-Sub socket connector designed for flat ribbon cable termination with a front metal shell configuration. The connector features a steel shell with 100µ" tin over 50µ" nickel over 50µ" copper plating, and copper alloy contacts with 30µ" gold plating on the mating area. The body is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic PBT rated UL94V-0 in black, with a brass nickel-plated rear nut and #4-40 UNC rear insert. Electrical specifications include a voltage rating of 250 VAC/RMS at 60Hz, current rating of 3 AMP, withstanding voltage greater than 1000 VAC RMS, insulation resistance greater than 1000 MO, and contact resistance of 20 mO maximum. This RoHS compliant connector is suitable for data communication and industrial control applications requiring reliable D-Sub interconnections.
