DESCRIPTION
The MRJ5A8001 is a rugged RJ45 connector from Amphenol designed to provide a standard RJ45 interface ideal for harsh environments where Ethernet/IP protocol is used. It features 8 contacts with phosphor bronze construction plated with 1.27 µm gold over 1.27 µm nickel, a high-temperature thermoplastic housing rated UL94V-0, and a die-cast zinc alloy shell with nickel plating. The connector supports a current rating of 1.5 A per contact, contact resistance of 30 mO maximum, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a maximum temperature rise of 30°C. It is RoHS compliant and available with optional LED indicators, dust covers for enhanced mating area protection, and supports up to 2500 mating cycles, making it suitable for networking, telecom, server, and industrial applications requiring reliable connectivity in demanding conditions.
