DESCRIPTION
RJE6018854A1 is a shielded modular jack connector designed as a single port 8P8 connector with integrated LED indicators, compliant with Cat 6A standards and RoHS regulations. The connector features a tab-up design with stainless steel shielding and high-temperature thermoplastic housing (UL 94V-O), supporting voltage ratings of 125 VAC and current ratings of 1.25 AMP. It incorporates copper alloy contacts with selective gold plating on mating surfaces and 100 µm matte tin plating on contact solder tails, along with dual LED indicators (left and right) available in multiple color configurations. The device operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and meets Cat 6A electrical characteristics including near-end crosstalk performance of 75.0 dB minimum at 1.0 MHz and insertion loss of 0.10 dB maximum at frequencies up to 10 MHz.
