DESCRIPTION
The 66506-001LF is a 2x5 vertical header connector in Style B configuration, part of the QUICKIE Slim Line product family from Amphenol ICC/FCI. This lead-free connector features a 0.400-inch (10.16 mm) body length (DIM C) and 0.150-inch (3.81 mm) pin tail length (DIM J), with 0.100-inch (2.54 mm) through-hole spacing for standard PCB mounting. The connector utilizes phosphorus bronze terminals with 100/180 µm tin plating over 50 µm nickel underplating, meeting lead-free specifications. The housing is constructed from glass-filled polyester flame-retardant material (UL 94 V-O, black), and the connector withstands 260°C peak temperature for 15 seconds in wave solder applications. This header is commonly used in consumer electronics, industrial control systems, and embedded applications requiring reliable board-to-board or board-to-cable interconnection.
