DESCRIPTION
The 17-101815 is a nickel-plated die-cast jack receptacle designed as a Cat. 5e RJ45 inline coupler with an integrated white plastic cover and ball chain assembly. It meets EIA/TIA-568B.2 Cat. 5e specifications with a contact resistance of 20 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 500 MO minimum at 100 VDC. The connector is rated for 1.2 A maximum at 25°C with a working voltage of 100 VDC and dielectric withstand voltage of 1000 VDC/60s (contact to contact) and 1500 VDC/60s (contact to metal shell), operating reliably across -40°C to +85°C. The receptacle housing is zinc die-cast with nickel plating, while the protective cover is constructed from PBT plastic with UL94 V-0 flame rating. This product is ideal for network installations, telecommunications equipment, and industrial applications requiring robust, shielded connectivity with enhanced safety features.
