DESCRIPTION
97-14S-1P(431) is a standard cylindrical connector from the Amphenol 97 Series designed for reliable electrical interconnection in industrial applications. This connector features a 14S shell size with a 1P insert arrangement containing 3 size #16 contacts with Service Rating A. The connector shell is fabricated from high-grade aluminum alloy with a conductive cadmium plate finish and olive drab chromate after-treatment, while contacts are silver plated with pre-tinned solder cups. Inserts are made from diallyl-phthalate material for solder-style contacts. The 97 Series connectors are UL recognized and offer options including alternate insert positioning, high temperature and potting constructions, special plating finishes including gray zinc nickel, and optional gold plating.
