DESCRIPTION
The 031-5 is a BNC jack connector designed for UG-89/U cable assemblies, providing reliable RF connectivity in coaxial cable applications. It features a 50-ohm impedance and operates across a frequency range of DC to 4 GHz, with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500 VRMS minimum. The connector is constructed with a brass body with nickel plating, beryllium copper contacts with silver plating, and PTFE insulation, ensuring durability and excellent electrical performance. It accommodates a wide range of standard coaxial cables including RG-55/U, RG-58/U, RG-141/U, RG-142/U, RG-223/U, and RG-400/U variants. The connector is rated for 500 mating cycles minimum and operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C, making it suitable for military, aerospace, telecommunications, and test equipment applications where robust RF connections are essential.
