DESCRIPTION
031-5911-RFX is a BNC straight bulkhead clamp jack connector designed for 50O RF applications. It features a nickel-plated body with gold-plated contacts and employs clamp/solder termination technology for secure cable attachment. This commercial-grade connector is part of the BNC product line, which has been a miniature quick connect/disconnect RF standard since the late 1940s, offering bayonet coupling for reliable mating with only a quarter turn. The connector is ideally suited for cable termination with miniature to subminiature coaxial cables such as RG-58, RG-59, and similar types. BNC connectors are useable up to 11 GHz with typically low reflection through 4 GHz, making them suitable for test equipment, instrumentation, and general RF interconnect applications requiring robust, field-serviceable connections.
