DESCRIPTION
The 31-242 is an industrial-grade BNC straight plug designed for reliable cable termination. It features a nickel-plated brass body and a gold-plated center contact, utilizing a crimp/crimp method for secure attachment. As part of the 50 Ohm BNC family, this connector provides low reflection through 4 GHz and is usable up to 11 GHz, with a quick connect/disconnect bayonet coupling mechanism. It is specifically designed for Cable Group B1, which includes RG-179 and RG-187 coaxial cables, making it ideal for applications in instrumentation, telecommunications, and broadcast systems.
