DESCRIPTION
The 031-5557-RFX is a BNC straight crimp plug designed for cable group C with press-fit contact termination and commercial-grade specifications. The connector features a nickel-plated brass body with gold-plated contact, providing excellent corrosion resistance and reliable RF performance. It is rated for 50 O impedance with usable performance up to 11 GHz and typically yields low reflection through 4 GHz, making it suitable for miniature to subminiature coaxial cable termination (RG-58, RG-59, RG-179, RG-316, etc.). The press-fit contact design enables field-serviceable termination without soldering, while the bayonet coupling mechanism allows quick connect/disconnect with only a quarter turn. This connector is ideal for RF applications requiring reliable, repeatable connections in test equipment, instrumentation, and communication systems.
