DESCRIPTION
The 031-5800 is a BNC straight cable plug connector designed for 50O coaxial cable termination. It features a nickel-plated brass body with gold-plated male contact, utilizing a crimp attachment method for the center conductor and solder termination for cable integration. The connector employs a 2-stud bayonet lock coupling mechanism (MIL-STD-348) for quick connect/disconnect mating with a quarter-turn operation. Rated for operation from DC to 4 GHz with a nominal impedance of 50O, the connector delivers low VSWR performance and is suitable for miniature to subminiature coaxial cables such as RG-58, RG-59, and similar types.
