DESCRIPTION
The AW2S-C is an AT Series™ heavy-duty, multi-pin thermoplastic connector designed for demanding industrial interconnect applications. It features IP68 and IP69K ratings in mated condition, supporting maximum current ratings of 13A to 25A depending on contact size configuration, with a maximum voltage rating of 250V. The connector incorporates an integrated latch coupling system, thermoplastic UL94-VO housing with excellent UV resistance, and silicone rubber seals that provide superior front and rear environmental protection against gas, oil, mineral oil, acid bath, and basic bath fluids. Key technical attributes include an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, copper alloy nickel-plated contacts (gold available), minimum mating cycles exceeding 100, insulation resistance of 1000 megohms minimum at 25°C, and shock/vibration resistance with no latch disengagement when subjected to 50g acceleration across three axes. The AW2S-C is ideal for heavy-duty, transportation, marine, diagnostic, alternative energy, and agricultural applications where robust environmental sealing and reliable electrical connections are critical.
